“Bidaya” volunteers in Sahnaya participate in the rehabilitation of Jack Faroun School
In cooperation with The Department of Ecumenical Relations “Gopa “, Bidaya Project” volunteers in Sahnaya participated in the rehabilitation of Jack Faroun School in Sahnaya.
The initiative aimed at rehabilitating the school, cleaning and painting the walls in the courtyard and classrooms, drawing paintings on child rights, such as the right to education and the right to clean drinking water, etc.
“We thank the volunteers of the Bidaya Center in Sahnaya and the Department of Ecumenical Relations for their participation in this initiative” said The director of Jack Faroun School, Ms. Diala Obeid.
“The initiative lasted for two days, and it included painting the classrooms, rehabilitating bathrooms and repairing doors. The team also implemented drawings on the rights of education, clean water and the integration of people with disabilities” said Sama Awsaj, one of Bidaya’s volunteers.
The Bidaya project, with its three centers in Sahnaya, Husseiniya and Jeroud, aims at initiating and participating in initiatives that benefit the local community.
