Renewal of Memorandum of Understanding between “Nour Foundation” and the Ministry of Education
“Nour” Foundation for Relief and Development” and the Ministry of Education have renewed their memorandum of understanding, aiming to strengthen cooperation. Mr. Ayham Hamada, a board member, represented “Nour,” while Mr. Abdel Hakim Al-Hamad, the Director of Planning and International Cooperation in the Ministry, represented the Ministry of Education.
The memorandum delineates the rejuvenation of collaboration across multiple spheres, encompassing the orchestration of diverse educational support sessions for students, including those who have dropped out of school. Furthermore, it entails tackling learning losses for all students through established frameworks, distributing school supplies and educational materials under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, and organizing purposeful sports and educational activities alongside instructional courses.
The varied events and activities will be tailored to match the developmental traits of the students and crafted based on constructive and beneficial principles. This will be achieved through intimate collaboration with the ministry, while also taking into account the laws and regulations it enforces. The ministry will extend full cooperation to “Nour Foundation” to carry out the agreed-upon activities in accordance with the provisions outlined in this memorandum.
It is noteworthy that since its inception, “Nour Foundation” has been dedicated to bolstering the education sector across accessible regions through various projects, campaigns, and activities aimed at fostering school reentry and continuous education. Through its education program, the Foundation endeavors to elevate school enrollment rates, diminish illiteracy rates, and underscore the significance of local communities in advancing education and tackling dropout challenges.
