Nour Foundation for Relief and Development, represented by its Chairman Mr. Mohammed Jalbout, has signed a cooperation agreement with Bioviva For Life, represented by Mr. Ghaith Hudaifi from France.
Mr. Hudaifi has recruited and trained project ambassadors from Nour foundation and Bidaya Project. The project ambassadors elected are well-qualified facilitators, trainers, and volunteers who have wide experience in psychosocial support services and dealing with children.
The project ambassadors elected will supervise the implementation of the project in Damascus and Rural Damascus through workshops that will introduce and explain the values and principles of the project. In addition, they will be responsible for thoroughly clarifying the educational values and the environmental concepts of each game.
Nour Foundation is working on estimating the number of children between 4 and 7 years of age; and between 8 and 13 years of age to place an order for a number of education games.
Mr. Hudaifi said, “We have already conducted a thorough needs assessment of children’s needs in camps and collective shelters in multiple countries and thus modified our games to meet those needs as closely as possible. We, in Bioviva, believe that charity games can help children facing difficulties in their lives to become more aspirant, which will inevitably have a positive impact on their families that can also be a part of the playing experience.”
“Bioviva For Life games,” said Mr. Hudaifi, “concentrate on participating in group play, overcoming shyness, reinforcing self-esteem, rejuvenating memory, and proposing environmental values and meaningful messages such as equality. We know that a large percentage of these children have dropped out of school for various reasons, and we believe that playing Bioviva For Life games can be a partial substitute for school.”
Bioviva For Life is a pioneering designer and manufacturer of positive educational games. Stemming from the concept “Education Through Fun and Play” and in coordination with its partners, Bioviva For Life has produced a million educational games tailored for refugee children around the world.
