“A lot of love.. a lot of Hope”, an initiative for Children of Cancer carried out by ” Bidaya “Center

 

In cooperation with “Ebtisamti Initiative”, “Bidaya” Center for Developmental Activities in Sahnaya organized an initiative for children with cancer. The initiative included clay games as part of psychological support, in addition to a play puppet section, which includes entertaining as well as educational objectives, in addition to other sections organized by “Ibtisamti”.

“I prepared this show especially for these children and my main goal was to see the smile on their faces,” said Ayat, a facilitator at the center. “The primary goal of the initiative was providing psychological support and integrating ill children with healthy peers, which enhances their recovery, as the psychological aspect plays an enormous role in the healing process.” added Majd Akroush the executive director of “Ibtisamti” initiative.

“I have noticed a change in the children’s behavior after the activities. My son has become more cheerful, and started to like playing with other healthy peers more closely which is very important”, said a mother of one of the children.

It is worth mentioning that Nour Foundation aims in its developmental programs at targeting all the children especially the most marginalized.
