As An Emergency Response to the COVID-19 Outbreak, NFRD Participates in “It’s Your Turn” Campaign

To support the efforts of the Syrian government to limit the spread of COVID-19, NFRD held a meeting with different NGO’s, foundations, and youth volunteer groups to agree on how to react to the threat of Coronavirus. The participants reached a consensus regarding a draft national action plan to support the government’s prevention measures, thus “It’s Your Turn Campaign”” (Sar Dawrak) was launched. The goal of “It’s Your Turn Campaign” is to provide an urgent response to the threat of the fast-spreading Coronavirus.

It is worth mentioning that COVID-19,which has been declared a global health pandemic by the World Health Organization, is one of the coronaviruses that cause respiratory diseases in humans, ranging from colds to pneumonia.Its effect on the body varies according to many factors such as the pathogen, age, and gender, and the severity of symptoms increases according to the strength of the body’s immunity.
